what we stand for
Our SYDKIMYL Student Wellbeing Model is built off of a solid foundation of social-emotional learning(SEL) as the key to unlocking a student's academic wellbeing. Through our service model, we provide comprehensive academic planning, student- focused strategies, and customizable services to help meet the individual needs of every unique student.
We serve Kindergarten through 12th grade scholars who need support with social skills, educational training, and transitioning in school. In addition, we provide counseling and instructional services to students in K-12 and University, as well as parents. We exist to reach students who are being under served due to the high student to counselor ratio as well as students who struggle in these areas.

what our clients say:
"SYDKIMYL has been very beneficial to our team and the children we serve. Our campers were able to engage with the SEL curriculum that provided opportunities for self-reflection, self-esteem building, and self-awareness. The lessons taught by the team with SYDKIMYL supported our youth in expressing emotions, increased positive peer interactions, and attentiveness towards the literacy shared each session. Thank you for your commitment to helping our youth towards a better tomorrow."
Frances Lee, Youth Development Project Manager: YMCA of Greater Charlotte
"We love SYDKIMYL and value what they offer to our scholars. We would love for the facilitators to speak directly with the teachers on struggles they are experiencing in the classroom. I think this will make the most impact."
Ashley McKinley, Head of School: friendship day school
"I can see growth in how students are handling their emotions. They still have to be reminded of different things but overall, they are making progress." AND "I have seen students use strategies they have learned in real time. The students also love the SYDKIMYL Leaders. Their interactions help build positive conversations among the students."
Jillian Insley, Art Teacher: Westerly Hills Academy
"I enjoy that it gives the students an opportunity to have an alternate lesson from their general curriculum. But it is also a lesson that teaches them things they need to know in life in terms of social and emotional learning."
Mr. Hatcher, 6th grade teacher: ridge road middle school
"The program has been beneficial to students and our overall school culture."
Haven Blanks, Assistant Principal: windsor park elementary school
"Hannah, Marcelle, and the staff are absolutely wonderful! We love having them in our school!"
Dianne Burke, Mentor for new teachers: University Park Creative Arts
We are pleased to announce the official sale of my book “Let’s Talk Social Emotional Learning”. It’s a one-size-fits-all approach, that doesn’t feel ‘boxy’ and generic, but makes space for exploration of ‘tougher’ topics, while normalizing a more imaginative approach.
It creatively takes the opportunity to look closely at critical sentiments in a disarming manner.
